Fedora 24 and Submit Client

I am running Fedora 24. I am trying to install DOMjudge 5.1.2 to start preparing for the next regional contest. When I try to run "configure", it gives an error after checking for jsoncpp/json/json.h. This is because it does not exist. json/json.h does exist. When I look at the jsoncpp-devel package, it does not have any files that are in a directory named jsoncpp. The documentation states that json/json.h should be used. I will skip the submit client for now, and we may decide not to use it at all (we have not used it in the past). However, it would be nice to get it to work. I do not have a Debian system handy to see if the include files are different there. Does anyone have suggestions for a resolution to this problem? Regards, Marc

First i would to know if there is a rest api for example /submission_file that return values that result in this case compiler error, and the code of compilation (warnings and errros from the code that we can see in the picture) If i can´t i would to know where i can get this information in bbdd. OCaml support

Hi I tried to add OCaml to the languages, so the compile script I used is: #!/bin/sh # C++ compile wrapper-script for 'compile.sh'. # See that script for syntax and more info. DEST="$1" ; shift MEMLIMIT="$1" ; shift MAINSOURCE="$1" ocamlc -o "$DEST" "$@" exit $? And for run, I left it as default script. But when a submission is judged, it exits with a RunTime Error The Runguard output follows: /home/foobar/domjudge5.1/judgehost/bin/runguard: cannot start `/testcase001/execdir/program': No such file or directory Try `/home/foobar/domjudge5.1/judgehost/bin/runguard --help' for more information. I tried to look for the file, and it does exist, and works like an executable, so I am not sure what is going wrong. For completeness, I also tried to echo the variables being passed to run, and the output in my temporary log file shows sudo -n /home/foobar/domjudge5.1/judgehost/bin/runguard -P 3 -r /home/foobar/domjudge5.1/judgehost/judgings/foobar-3/endpoint-default/c131-s68948-j78769/testcase001/.. --nproc=50 --no-core --streamsize=40000 --user=domjudge-run-3 --walltime=1:2 --cputime=1:2 --memsize=4096000 --filesize=40000 --stderr=program.err --outmeta=program.meta -- /testcase001/execdir/program Please advise on how to proceed. Hello, I want to make a desktop app, this desktop is a web interface simply, in this interface i want to upload a file .c or .c++ and send to domjudge via service web or whatever, i want that domjudge execute and return to me the datas to show all information in mi desktop app. Is it possible?, is there a service web in domjudge? king regards.

Kernel Parameter on AWS EC2

Hi, I want to enable cgroups for Java memory issues and running multiple judgedaemons in AWS EC2 Ubuntu 14.04 Server instance. However, I can't add "quiet cgroup_enable=memory swapaccount=1" since AWS EC2 doesn't use grub. Is there any method to add kernel parameters to AWS EC2 instance? Thanks, Myungwoo Chun

[Domjudge] Selectively allowing languages per problem in a contest

Hi I am trying to set up a contest where I have 4 languages available for the participants along with say 4 problems. Is it possible to configure domjudge in such a manner such that the partipants can solve Problem 1 only with Language 1, Problem 2 with either Language 1 or Language 2, Problem 3 with only Language 3, and so on. I was initially thinking that per problem run scripts would be the solution for this, but turns out it is not the case. I would highly appreciate any help in this regard. Thanks a lot Ambar Pal

Update compile script

Hi In case adding a new language and compile script for a new language or update compile script of a language, what should I do? I see the source code and domjudge scheme, I found the table "executable" contains some content and md5 of zip files, so that, should I write a command to read content of zip file and calculate md5 then put it into db?

Judgedaemon binding

Hi We’re trying to run domserver an judgedaemons on the same machine (a 6 core VM). My plan so far is to use the kernel flag isolcpus to reserve 4 cores for the judgedaemons. My question is that when we bind a judgedaemon using judgedamon -n does it set the affinity to the right mask by itself or do I need to do something? Thanks Parth Mittal PS. I’d also appreciate any alternate approaches that you have in mind.

Scoreboard cache refresh fails

Hi We have this one giant practice session contest running all the time, and we want the scoreboard to work here. So the scoreboard.php when called uses more than 128M memory, and I increased the limit in /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini to 512M, so now that works to render the scoreboard. However, when I do scoreboard cache refresh, we still run out of memory, so I assume it uses a different php.ini? Where can I edit this file? Thank you Parth Mittal

Error after upgrade

Hi guys We were running domjudge version 4.0 on Ubuntu 12.04, and over the weekend decided to upgrade 5.1. (I’m not the original maintainer, he has graduated from our institute). So the database upgrade scripts ran mostly fine. I had to change the shortname column fill line (in 4.0 -> 5.0) UPDATE `contest` SET `shortname` = CONCAT(`cid`, UPPER(SUBSTR(REPLACE(`name`, ' ', ''), 1, 10))), `public` = 1; since previous version did not generate unique value for contests with long common prefix. Further I commented out the line to upgrade to support full unicode (in 5.0 -> 5.1) because it refers to a file that I couldn’t find, and gave an error. So after this DB upgrade was complete. Now for Apache conf, since we are still on 2.2, I didn’t find the a2enconf, and found in /etc/apache2/conf.d a symlink to the previous apache.conf. So I updated the symlink, and then commented out the apache2.4 parts of the new file. Is there something else I need to do? Because when I run, I get 500s in the web browser. I have a backup of the database from the 4.0 install, so I can even start the process again if I did something wrong earlier, but I would prefer not to do that since the backup is ~100 GB (because of large number of submissions). Run over 8 judgedaemon on server

Hi, I have a problem when I try to run multi-core judgedaemon. I followed your document. I setup cgroups, edit etc/cgroup-domjudge.conf: -- Change cpuset.cpus = 0 => cpuset.= 0-22; I also add file misctools/create_cgroups to /etc/cgconf.d/cgroup-domjudge. After that, I check /cgroup/cpuset/domjudge/cpuset.cpus => Output is 0-23. I also build runguard after I config cgroups. But I only can run 8 judgedaemon. From judge 9th, if it compile any code, I will receive this error: Compiling failed with exitcode 255, compiler output: /domjudge/judgehost/bin/runguard: illegal user specified: 7809 Try `/domjudge/judgehost/bin/runguard --help' for more information. I set all user is user that I run domjudge. But judge 8 judge can compile well. Please help me! Thank you!

Compiler error

Dear Sir, I am using Domjudge to set up ACM Contest in my school, everything is OK. I can submit Java, C, C++ very well. I also install cgroup and using chroot. But sometime, I received error like this when I submit any code, just somtimes this happened, and when I rejudge them, I received CORRECT response. Error text: Compiling failed with exitcode 255, compiler output: /domjudge/judgehost/bin/runguard: illegal user specified: 7806 Try `/domjudge/judgehost/bin/runguard --help' for more information. Can you show me how to solve this problem? And I also run domjudge without root accout, I run it with an account with root privillege! Thanks. I'm looking forward for your help! Best regard, Linh
